Object, Shadow and Reflection
All of the photos taken for object, shadow and reflection were taken all around Southern New England. The top three are for shadow while the last three are for reflection. For this reflection I will discuss the very first photo for shadow. This particular photo was taken in an art gallery in New Bedford. The objects in the photo are vintage canes which cast a shadow facing the opposite direction. The placement of the shadow and how it looks like its moving creates a mysterious mood. Line is an apparent visual aspect in the piece. It draws the eye to and away from the object and brings you around the image.
